Welcome to my painted resin page.
I am focusing on creating unique LSQ paint jobs. I hope you enjoy my horses. Thanks for looking!
Below is a mini Finn I did as a donation for a model horse show. He is my first roan, you can see the reference picture. He was a lot of fun, I used pastels & then penciled in the roaning effect for hairs, many pencil layers.

This is a mini Caprice I did as a donation for a show. My first cremello!

'Derby' is a gypsy Vanner sculpted by Yvonne Davey. This guy was very challenging for me. I obsessed over him and spent way to long working on him. His unique pattern was inspired by a real gypsy vanner, I did tweak it a little so he would not look exactly like the real horse. This is the kind of work I can die happy knowing I created. SOLD!

Maya is a stable mate size Marwari resin. The marwari is an exotic & very rare breed from india. An ancient breed that has fewer than 500 pure breds in the world. This is the horse of kings and war. Known for its inward hooked ears and smooth gait. I was able to see these beautiful horses and ride them when I visited india several years ago. It was there, I fell in love with this unique breed. I painted my little 'Maya' a black bay and have attached a pic of the reference horse I used. SOLD!

Say Hello to Rembrant! He is strong but gentle. He is a Belgian Draft stallion. He has slight dapples on his body, blond mane, tail and feathers. Rembrandt is everything a good draft should be. He is kind and obedient, ready to work for you! SOLD!

Woo-Hoo! I adore this mold! This is a little Mini-Ziryab sculpted By Stacey Tomlinson. She is so pregnant she looks like she is about to pop! I panited her a lovely steel-gray with rose undertones and dapples. Her dapples are to scale which is a challenge on these small models. I gave her a funky skunk forelock...I love skunk forelocks! Her mane & tail are wild with colors and highlights. I feel that I created my best eyes & hooves on this horse since I began in the hobby, so i'm very proud of her. SOLD!

Well folks, here he is! Boss 302 sculpted by Sue Kern, is my first traditional size resin, which is about the size of a Breyer horse. He is rough-neck mustang stallion. I have a little story as to how I chose his unique color. A foal was born years ago at a barn I was boarding at. The most stunning dark-chocolate/black blanket appy, he had ice-blue eyes. He was so beautiful. In fact, to beautiful for this world. He was completely blind and his owner had to put him down. I never forgot his striking looks. Boss, is what I believe that foal would of grown up to look like, had he lived. To this day I have never seen a dark blanket Appy with blue eyes. Boss may just be the only one. He is a living tribute to a spectacular little foal.
I used pastels & acrylic paints on him. His little roan hairs were done with a pencil & an etching tool. Eyes & hooves are glossed. Chestnuts & frog painted. He has bronze highlights on his mane and tail, little flecks on his pink nose. He was a pleasure to paint! SOLD!
This fashy blue roan is my third-ever finished horse. She is a mini-Indy sculpted by Sarah Rose. I love this model. She stands perfectly parked out. Black/glossed hooves, tail dragging the ground. Large, soulful eyes. aleart ears. Perfect little TWH mare. Look for her in the show ring! SOLD!

Below is Minkiewcz-Breunig's "Dafydd" painted in a rich chocolate with silver mane/tail, frosted feathers, large, gentle eye. i love the way he turned out & he will be on the auction block soon...I hope whoever buys him will show him as I'd love to see how he does. Look for him in the show ring! SOLD!

Stacey Tumlinson's mini version of her Majestuoso. I painted him in a dapple-rose-gray. Look for him in the show ring! SOLD!
